Thames Vale Homes is always acquiring land for the future. We cover the whole housing market, building flats, terraced, semi-detached and detached homes.

What do we look for?

Thames Vale builds in both urban, rural and village areas. A typical development would be from half an acre to five acres. We are very happy to acquire land without planning consent or on a subject to planning basis. The land can be brownfield- (already developed), part of a garden or greenfield. In the past we have even acquired land from our own purchasers! Our area of operation is within one hours drive of Newbury which takes us to Oxford in the North, Swindon in the West, Winchester in the South and Reading in the East.

Why Thames Vale?

One of the reasons for the current low levels of housing output in the UK is the complexity of the planning system. We know that there are so many rules and regulations that it is easy to spend time and money and get nowhere. We have a continual programme of planning applications where the sole aim is to maximise the value of the land. It is in our interest, and therefore the land owners interest, to get the very best consent possible.

We have an excellent planning track record in both towns and villages which we would only be too pleased to discuss. We aim to deal with all the issues which arise from development – both with the local authority and all other interested parties.
